:::excited:::

Wow, it's been awhile!

I am so excited that soon I will be finishing college and moving to Maryland. Currently I am waiting patiently to hear back from some schools I interviewed at during spring break. So I am praying that I will be getting a teaching job soon! =D

I am looking into graduate schools as we speak. For a while now I've said that I want to get my Masters in Elementary Education. Well now I also want to get my Doctorates. So we will see how the next few weeks and year pan out.

Oh and Joe was accepted in Maryland Trooper School Academy Application Process. He is not in the school yet, but was accepted into the process. He heads to DC Sunday for his fitness exam and cognitive exam. They don't want any crazy people on the force. And the only thing Joe is crazy about is me! =D Ha.

Okie dokie! I need to finish packing for Emmaus! So excited not to have a cellphone or computer for 4 days.

:::Not moving to California:::

So Joe and I are not moving to California. Just some hiccups came up and we decided to change our paths.

But on a good note, we are looking at jobs in Northern Virginia and Maryland.

So far we have had no success with jobs in Northern Virginia. But in Maryland we have some good job offers.

=D

At the moment, I am applying to private Christian schools, and Joe is applying to Troopers school. He has decided to become a state trooper.

So will all of this happen??? Who knows. But we are looking at places to live! And of course I found a couple sweet places!

Joe heads up to Maryland in a few weeks for Orientation, then back home for a week. Then we both head back up for apartment tours and a few job interviews.

Exciting!!!

:::What hurts the most makes you stronger:::

This past month has been an emotional roller coaster, during the time of Christmas everyone is suppose to be cheerful and giving. And I would have to say I was faking the cheerful and hated my gift that was taken away.

I was given the news from 3 little pee sticks that I was pregnant. How far a long? I had no idea, all I knew that I was so excited!!! It is funny how things were planned that week, I had a doctors appt already planned in three days. So for three days, I thought I was going to be a mom, for three days I was planning the life of my son or daughter and for three day I was the happiest I think I have ever been. Obviously marrying Joe was a great and a happy moment, but this happiness was different. I went to the doctors and told them that I took a test and I wanted them to take a blood test. Waiting for the results was so aggravating, but the doctor came back and said yup your pregnant. Then she asked me if they can do an ultrasound just to make sure. I am now glad I said yes, because within a couple moments of reading her facial expression and how she said "hmmm" I could tell that something was not right. Something was wrong, I had a miscarriage. The explain the baby was older than a month but less than two months, and they kept sharing more painful details. I did not cry, I just stared and did not know what to say. For within an hour I went from being happy, crazy excited then depressed.

From their on, I kept this all a secret. I didn't want Joe to be depressed and upset, I didn't want my parents to be disappointed in us getting pregnant, I thought people would be so judgmental because we are still young and in college. This was not a planned event, we are not planning on trying to have babies until we move to California or later.

Finally letting Joe and my family know about everything, was probably the best thing I could of done. But it hurt so much having to admit the lost, because then it became real. That was the last thing I wanted this to become, real.

It took a couple weeks, a couple friend visits, a lot of city wine celler lunches for me to be told to grieve the lost but you can't let this loss bring down your life. I have taken everyone's advice and I am finally moving on. I have one last thing I want to do before closing this door, so I receive closure.

All I know is that one day Joe and I will be parents and we will be great parents, and they will have great aunts and uncles, and great grand-parents. I look forward to the day when I am blessed with kids from God.

I love my husband, he is great. Everyone should be jealous. =D

::::one of those::::::

Today was one of those days where I just observed the people that surrounded me.

All I saw was a lot of negativity, seriously for a hour all I heard was complaining, whining, bickering, and arguments. It was disappointing, however eye opening because I saw things in myself and others I don't think I would of seen if I wasn't just listening.

I learned that I, well I am a positive person. Joe and I try not to be a "debbie downer" when a problem arises. We try to find a way to fix the problem or just to find something positive. Always being negative makes life depressing and miserable. And, I learned that I make my own situations grow or disintegrate. If that makes any sense, I cause most of my problems... But others don't see it that way, today someone was blatant that the reason they could not get their homework done was because of spending time with friends, "trying to be social" they put it. No, no, no noooo sir. We are adults, we can avoid/fix problems, however we rather blame someone else rather than say, "Goodness I am an idiot, I should of done my homework before class." College, and just life in general is about mistakes and learning about your mistakes. However, I think some people would rather blame someone else and they will never learn.

Just tired of the negitivity and bulllllll crap.

WOW

Life is changing, and changing fast. It is exciting and scary all within the same moment. However, I believe I will be ready for the change, even though it will be a little difficult at first. But worth it in the end.

I would have to say that Joe and I have had to make a lot of grown up choices at the time. We have finally hit a fork in the road. If we bear left, we know exactly how our life will be for the next 5, 10 or 2o years. But if we bear right, we could have an adventure in our life together that I think we would never come across again.

We are bearing right, life is crazy and so are times. I mean we have known since we got married we were going to be paying for two student loans and eventually have to get another car. And how the economy is today, we really have been praying for something to come our way to help ease the pressure of loans. And wow something came, out of the blue... Which was scarrrry. But God works crazy fast and has a plan. Even though this was not something I thought would never happen but we are ready.

We will be leaving a lot, which is weird for me to say. I mean I have been raised in a military family all my life. I have moved every 2-4 years, I have never really had good relationships with friends until I came to college. I mean I never had the time to build them, and I did not want to build relationship especially when I knew my butt was going to be gone in a year. But I would have to say it is different for me to care to make every moment with my friends like it could be the last. That was weird for me to even write. I mean I never have cared until the past couple years even months.

Everything is changing, and I like it. I mean nothing is happening tomorrow, but when summer starts to approach that is really when everything will be changing.

Oh and by the way no I am not pregnant... I just had to say that because everyone always thinks I am, and I am not. =D One day, not any time soon.
